Do not lose heart
Whoever you are, I believe this message is for you.
“Do not lose heart.”
I am moved to write God’s message that wherever we are and whatever we are going through, He is always with us. In trying times, remember how God has rescued you because if He has done it before, He will do it again. Jesus wants us to find strength in His saving love and to cling on to His promise that He will never leave us. Life doesn’t end up here. There is so much ahead. We only see what we see but He sees the whole picture. Things might be messy right now but may we find confidence with this,
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 1:6-
Cliché it may hear, but it is true that everything happens for a reason. Heartaches, rejections, and disappointments are necessary. Someday, everything will make sense. Nothing in your pain, efforts and experiences will be in vain because He wants nothing but the best as He promised a future full of hope.
God is for us, He is never against us. Suppress not all your hurts. Acknowledge it in the presence of God and He will meet you where you are. He is waiting for you to come. The best thing about our Lord is that we can pour out our heart to Him without pretension, and yet He still loves us. Even before we speak, He already knew what bothers us and He knows exactly how to comfort us. The spoken and the unspoken thoughts He hears and it’s just so amazing that the God who created the entire universe cares a lot to know how we feel—the longings of our hearts and even the deepest pain we are hiding.
Take heart! Stop doubting. Keep pursuing what you believe you are called to do in this lifetime. The journey might be long, but surely you’ll get there. It will not be easy but it will be worth it. One day, you will look back on this moment and will thank God for His victory in your life.
I pray for your heart to find hope and courage in God. Allow Jesus to love you. Allow Him to work in you and to work through you. Do not lose heart. Keep going and believe when He said,
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
-Jeremiah 29:11-
