Papa, you are a gift from above
“Father, Dad, Papa, no matter what you call them they influence our lives and they are the person we look up to.” -Catherine Pulsifer-
The world has been a better place to live because of a father’s love and sacrifices for his family. They are the ones who greatly influence the values of a child as it grows up. Manifesting their affection in many ways, a father’s love is unconditional who strives to protect and provide for his family at all costs. They are amazing in every way as they have a heart who doesn’t easily give up on life. Their love for their family is their driving force and the root of their inspiration whenever they get tired. When life hits them hard, they rise with determination and a strong-willed spirit to be the best husband and father they can be.
Sometimes, their decisions are misunderstood but they do intend only what is best. Often described as a pillar of strength and support, their priority is to give security and a good life for their family. A father’s dream is the fulfilment of his child’s dream and his child’s pain is his pain. It might be rare for them to express their feelings and thoughts, but deep in their hearts is a love that is priceless and even beyond words.
To all the fathers in the world, thank you for making the world a better place. You are a real superhero.
A thought of you brings courage to my soul
As your presence makes life bearable
The words you speak are uplifting
To set an example of moral upbringing
Your persistence to live, to provide
Persevering to give us a good life
Striving to protect at all costs
Even at the expense of your own loss
Countless times you’ve been a sanctuary
Of a restless mind in misery
How can you be so patient?
To the stories when no one listens
You are the voice that keeps cheering
To a heart that is hurting
Whose eyes that see the very best
The one who believes when there’s no one else
Let this piece I write resonate in you
Like a sparkling light of changing hue
Thank you for all the sacrifices and love
Papa, you are a gift from above
With love,
Kiana Leigh
Beloved, let it go and be free
