Life is not always about rainbows and butterflies. It doesn’t always seem to be how we’d like things to be. But that’s all part of the journey. When I was at my lowest, I always find peace in God’s presence through prayer. It was in those moments of conversing with the Lord that my heart was able to unpack wisdom amidst the disheartening situations. Below are the 10 Godly Wisdom when feeling disheartened. 1. God has His own way of answering your prayers. Trust His timing. God works from a wider perspective. When He seems silent, believe that He is at work. Trust that He will direct your steps. Trust God’s timing. 2. Work at it with all your heart. Whatever God calls you to do, work at it with all your heart. Always remember that a little progress is still progress. Nothing you do will be in vain if you do it for the Lord. 3. Approach things from a place of HOPE. This constant need to be in control of everything comes from a place of FEAR. Approach things from a place of HOPE. There is no limit to what God can do. Trust the Lord and let Him take the lead. There is hope in Christ. 4. Wherever you go, follow Jesus. God can never go wrong. Sometimes it’s hard to completely surrender. Humans as we are, we want to be in control of our lives as much as we can. However, life doesn’t always go our way. As frustrating as it could be, this is a reminder of our limitations and that there is a Higher Being who holds all things and directs all things. 5. Tomorrow is already taken care of by your Lord and Savior No matter what happens in this world, you can trust God to guide you and give wisdom to make the right decisions. There is no need to lie awake at night and fret about tomorrow, because tomorrow is already taken care of by your Lord and Savior. 6. Don’t let fear paralyze you. What are you afraid of? Psychology tells us that most of the fears we feel never come true. They are unfounded thoughts or beliefs that enter our minds, but we choose to believe them and, in some cases, integrate them into our lives.  Fear paralyzes the mind, making us unable to think clearly. It has a way of multiplying itself; we are so disabled when we are afraid that we become afraid of our fears. 7. God hears more than we say and gives more than we ask when we pray. God sees the depths of our being. He knows our needs even before we speak. When we pray, God hears more than we say, answers more than we ask, gives more than we imagine, in his own time and in his own way. 8. Let go and let God Everything has its appointed time. No matter how impossible it could be, if it’s destined to happen, you will be directed to your destiny. Sometimes it happens in a way you least expect it. It’s just a matter of time. And when the time comes, the universe conspires, paving the way of the so-called “destiny”. 9. Step Out in Faith Are you in a season of your life where God is calling you somewhere? Taking a new direction in life is a leap of faith. The vision of what’s ahead may be limited, but hold on to the faithfulness of this unlimited God. He is the Pilot, and we are the passengers. He knows the direction and He leads the way. He did not promise an easy flight. But He promised that we could get through it together with Him, reassuring us that everything would be alright. Beloved, may this give you peace. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” ~Hebrews 11:1~ 10. Let go of the past. Past hurts. Trauma. Bitterness. You need to let them go. You won’t be able to move forward in life if you allow yourself to be a prisoner of the past. You will continue to be haunted by those hurtful memories if you don’t let them go. You need to let go. Always remember that everything is part of the process. You may feel that your life is a mess right now, but that is not forever. One day, things will make sense. You’ll look back and connect all the dots.
