‘Cause it’s the loving thing to do…

Sometimes, it’s better to be silent and just pray for the person who caused you pain because,

it’s the loving thing to do.

You can’t control the other person but you can control how you respond. It’s easy to throw hate when we are hurt and disappointed. But I’m always reminded with this, “What would Jesus do in this situation?”

Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you.

To argue doesn’t guarantee to defend yourself. The chaos it will create could only cause harm to your soul and to the core values you live for. Pause and reflect. You know in your heart what is right. You don’t have to prove or explain yourself to people. Talk to Jesus, He knows you more than anyone else and He loves you. That’s what matters. Let His message of peace and love resonate deep in your soul. Listen to His words of affirmation—the very thing that matters. The world could label you as a failure, incompetent, worthless human being. But Jesus would always tell you that you are enough, a masterpiece, and worth dying for.

Jesus always invites us to come into His presence when we are in pain. He guarantees us comfort. He listens without judgment. And He gives us peace that nothing in this world could ever give. Let this open letter be your assurance that He loves you no matter what people think of you. He forgives you of whatever you have done in the past. He will heal you from your wounds. He will fight for you. He will never abandon you. Your worth doesn’t diminish when you fail or in your lack of achievement. You are enough and there’s nothing to prove.

For some instance, we are called to speak up. But what we say and how we say things make a lot different. It is encouraged to speak in a loving manner with love as the highest intention. What comes out from us reflects our heart’s disposition. It’s not what people’s opinion that defines you, it’s how you respond that says a lot about you. So it’s always good to ask first,

“What’s the loving thing to do?”

Combat hate with love. If people curse you, bless them with prayer. Life shouldn’t be an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth. The commandment of love is everyone’s call we are all ought to live. It’s the inner compass that makes the world a better place.

May you have peace in Christ Jesus.

Rest in His love.

Let Jesus fix what has been broken.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
