Timeless

The love of our Lord Jesus Christ is a love that transcends time and space.
It is a love that crowned Him with thorns.
A love that pierced His hands with nails.
A love that led to His crucifixion and death on the cross.
This love is timeless. Though His passion and death occurred nearly 2,000 years ago, the sins I continue to commit today are the very same sins He bore—adding weight to the cross He endured.
This realization made me emotional, understanding that time is linear—that the actions I take today echo back to what Jesus suffered in the past; and what Jesus did for me in the past continues to echo into my present and even into my not-so-distant future—my destiny.
It makes perfect sense why it is crucial to commemorate the Paschal Mystery every year—not as a moment lost in history, but as a timeless act of God’s love, unbound by time.
From Philippians 2:8-9
“Christ became obedient to the point of death,
even death on a cross.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him
and bestowed on him the name which is above every other name.”
